Education
Pedro Riquelme Peña is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Applied Ethics UC. He completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science and Philosophy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and holds both a Master’s degree and a doctorate in Political Science from the same institution. He has taught at the Institute of Political Science and the Institute of Philosophy at UC, as well as at the Faculty of Government of the Universidad de Chile.
Research
His research areas are animal ethics, environmental ethics, political theory, and applied metaethics. Within his FONDECYT Postdoctoral Project, he is working on an applied and interdisciplinary ethical theory concerning policies of intervention in nature.
